Pop Keyboard Performance Lab

Learn to play the keyboard in a pop context, playing current hits on the radio. Students will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of music theory and harmony, and learn to sight-read chord symbols and transcribe out chords.

This will allow them to play any of their favourite songs and current hits on the radio. Advanced keyboard concepts such as creating fills, composing intros and endings, arpeggios, and various comping patterns will also be taught, catering to a variety of musical styles.

Course Duration

Min. 6 months per phase.

Lessons are held once a week for 1 hr.
